Currently serving as an adjunct research professor at the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Law, the internationally-recognized disability rights advocate will speak on “The Lawyer’s Ethical Duty to Engage in Social Justice Advocacy – Learning from a Disability Perspective.”

December 14, 2023 — In 2026, the joint Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program offered by the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg will celebrate its 50th anniversary. On November 23, 2023, a reception was held to kick off a series of events to honour their milestone year. A number of alumni, current students and public administration leaders, along with MPA faculty and senior university officials from both institutions joined together to celebrate excellence in public administration education and launch a 50th anniversary scholarship donation campaign.
