The Daily Bread Cafe isn't just your everyday cafe, it's a place where students, staff, and our community come together. It's also a place where staff member Edgar found co-workers that have become like family.
The Daily Bread Café is a place where people gather over a meal, connect, and study with their friends. For staff member Edgar, this Café has been his work family for thirteen years, motivating him to be a better person every day.
As Edgar explains, his motivation for his work doesn’t just come from his family; it comes from the co-workers he is surrounded by.
“I’m motivated to come to work every day because of my co-workers. They have been kind to me and my family since I started at the Café years ago; it’s greatly benefited my family and a pleasant environment to work in.”
From the people who work in the Café to the food they put out to the UM community, the Daily Bread Café can be your next meeting spot, lunch break, or a place to connect with your colleagues.
