Robson Hall welcomes the Federal Court of Canada : Network News
October 9, 2018 — Robson Hall will host the Federal Court of Canada on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. The Federal Court will sit and hear a real case in the Faculty of Law’s Moot Courtroom. Hearings of this nature are open to the public, with doors opening at 10:00 a.m. After the hearing, the presiding judge will hold a question and answer session. Wednesday’s hearing will consider an application for judicial review of a decision made by the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada that rejected a claim for protection under the United Nations’ Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees.
