On December 6, 1989, 14 women were killed by a gunman at École Polytechnique. Today, the engineering community gathered to honour those 14 women who lost their lives due to misogyny and hate.

UM Congratulates Successful 2022 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) Program Applicants

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) Program provides opportunities for professors, instructors and librarians to meaningfully engage in projects that increase knowledge in pedagogy and learning. Don Petkau recognized for outstanding contribution to engineering education

At the Biosystems Alumni of Influence Awards Luncheon on November 15, Petkau was presented with the frame of the nomination citation and a photograph of him. The frame will hang alongside past winners on the Champion of Engineering Wall in EITC.
