SoTL Luncheon Highlights Importance of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

On May 28, UM educators and scholars gathered for a luncheon to celebrate the significance of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Hosted by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic). The 2024 SoTL Luncheon shed light on the transformative power of SoTL work fostered collaborations in this vital field.

UM student earns 4th in Canadian systems thinking competition

In 2024 UM participated for the first time in Map the System, a systems thinking competition. Unlike hackathons or case competitions where participants work towards a solution, Map the System is focused on deeply understanding a problem using systems thinking.
