On Dec. 1, the Centre for Ukrainian Canadian Studies is hosting a welcome event for the Ukrainian scholars within the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Max Rady College of Medicine and other units.

On November 22, the University held its annual Emeritus event in-person for the first time since 2019. Emeritus or Emerita titles are granted to those who have performed distinguished service in their respective roles. This year’s event honoured vice-presidents, deans, and professors, for their commitment to UM over their careers.

Berlin-based Klezmer composer latest Musician-In-Residence

Alan Bern is the newest Musician-In-Residence at the Desautels Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba. Bern will work with students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the public from November 12 – 25 2022.
