March 25, 2024 —  A project led by Dr. Lorrie Kirshenbaum of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba has received $3.9 million in federal and provincial funding to develop lab infrastructure dedicated to studying heart disease in women.

March 25, 2024 —  A group of 10 rehabilitation sciences, nursing and midwifery learners recently traveled to the Amazon region of Ecuador to learn about health and well-being from a collective of traditional healers and midwives.

March 25, 2024 —  Science Spark 3K Pitch Competition 2024 presented by the Bioscience Association Manitoba (BAM) is happening on April 8th, 1:00 p.m. at Marshall McLuhan Hall as 9 teams of science students pitch their innovative ideas and compete for a chance to win a $3,000 cash prize! The event is free but registration is required.
