Make the most of your winter break
Attend the November THRIVE event to learn tools and techniques to minimize stress
How you intend to spend your winter break?
Whether you plan on relaxing, catching up with friends and family, or getting more organized—you can learn new ways to make the most of this time away from work.
The November THRIVE session will share tools and tips to help us become more intentional with our time, so that we can spend more time doing the things we want to.
“The winter break can be a busy and stressful time, and between the number of social engagements, long lists of items we want to accomplish, and taking time to recharge, we can easily find ourselves feeling overwhelmed,” says Heidi Adamko, director of change management and project services.
In the session, participants will discover and practice time-reclaiming tools such as making manageable lists, timeboxing, using mail merge and the Pomodoro technique.
“These are techniques that can help us in our personal lives,” adds Adamko.
“Hopefully this session will set you up for an enjoyable and relaxing winter break!”
