Researchers from the University of Manitoba and fifteen other institutions have made a breakthrough discovery in understanding climate change and its implications, revealing that at least 20% of Greenland was green 416,000 years ago, a new study in the journal Science shows.

Michael Fitzpatrick wins first prize and Brock Dueck wins a merit award under the competition hosted by LYCEUM this year, Old Town Mall - Reimagined. As the final project of their Environmental Design, Landscape and Urbanism studio, Emergent Futures, they worked with professor Marcella Eaton to respond to the design challenge of reimagining Old Town Mall in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
