Although known as the ultimate Canadian band because of the numerous references to Canada in their songs, the rock equivalent of Gordon Lightfoot and Stompin’ Tom, the roots of the band are clearly in post-punk indie or alternative rock and as such, their songs tend to have dark undertones

Gregory Lewis, a rising star on the national and international stage, frequently plays with orchestras across Canada, and has graced the stage at Carnegie Hall twice in the past year.

Music student makes Rainbow Stage debut

Rainbow Stage's latest production will be tinted with brown and gold starting June 23, 2016. Desautels Faculty of Music student Elena Howard-Scott has been cast in Ring of Fire. She will be taking over the umstudent Instagram account on June 23. Follow her throughout the day as she prepares for her Rainbow Stage debut.
