On November 22, 18 distinguished former and current members of the UM faculty and administration were honoured as the University of Manitoba officially conferred their annual Emeritus appointments.

On November 22, the University held its annual Emeritus event in-person for the first time since 2019. Emeritus or Emerita titles are granted to those who have performed distinguished service in their respective roles. This year’s event honoured vice-presidents, deans, and professors, for their commitment to UM over their careers.

McCallum has dedicated 48 years to the Asper School of Business, seeing more students graduate, more alumni retire, and more deans move through the School than any faculty or staff member.
