The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (The Centre) provides a variety of services to support your educational technology needs. As we reach the end of the Fall term, here are some reminders of resources available to you.
Exam support
The Centre provides support for final exam preparation, including exam setup in UM Learn
You can also explore alternative forms of assessment in lieu of the traditional paper exam for this exam period or as new ideas for your Winter course.
Technology supports
If you have questions about educational technologies, The Centre’s educational technologies team can help. Along with UM Learn, The Centre can assist with Webex, Zoom, YuJa, iClicker Cloud, Respondus, Mentimeter and Peerceptiv.
The recent addition of YuJa Panorama, supports the creation of accessible content for courses and assignments for course instructors.

Workshops
The Centre offers workshops and training specific to learning technologies. Teaching with Technology, which focuses on how to use tablets to create a multimedia experience for students in the classroom, is taking place Wednesday, January 22.
