Retirement planning sessions offered for faculty and staff

Registration now open for virtual sessions on Nov. 9, 10, 12 and 13

October 14, 2020 — 

Current faculty and staff who are plan members of the University of Manitoba Pension Plan (1993) (Pension Plan) and are planning to retire in the next five years are invited to register for three upcoming virtual retirement planning sessions taking place on Nov. 9, 10 and 13.  

An additional session on Nov. 12 is open to all plan members who would like more information on the Pension Plan and long term financial planning.

Speakers will provide information on a number of topics including an overview of the Pension Plan, the pension benefit payout options available, and wills and estate planning. The sessions will be held via Webex meetings.

Registration is required. Participants will be contacted through email by the Pension Office after registration closes.

Retirement Planning Sessions

Registration and attendance is limited to those who are within five years of retirement.

Registration is limited to 20 attendees per session.

Information Session: Thinking Ahead to your Retirement Planning

The information session is limited to 90 registrants.

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
