New students check out Fort Garry campus at Head Start
On Saturday, June 2 over 1,100 incoming University of Manitoba students, their families and friends visited the Fort Garry campus for Head Start, a half-day event designed to help new students prepare for the first year of university and to explore student life on campus.
Six faculties, University 1 and Student Recruitment offered information sessions during the event. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in campus tours, residence tours and to visit an Info Fair featuring 20 different campus units.
This event is a great way for incoming students to see campus and calm any nerves before they start classes this fall. In case you missed it, check out the fun by having a look at Nina Lam’s takeover of the @umstudent Instagram account.
