Each year, Merit Awards are awarded to faculty members for their outstanding achievements in teaching, research, scholarly work and creative activities, and service in three different categories. Applications for the previous calendar year are adjudicated by Two Joint Committees on Merit Awards and the selected recipients are awarded $3,000 each.
