The University of Manitoba is deeply saddened by the murders of four Indigenous women, Rebecca Contois, 24, Marcedes Myran, 26, Morgan Beatrice Harris, 39, and Mashkode Bizhiki'ikwe (Buffalo Woman), all from Manitoba.

UM Congratulates Successful 2022 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) Program Applicants

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) Program provides opportunities for professors, instructors and librarians to meaningfully engage in projects that increase knowledge in pedagogy and learning. On November 22, the University held its annual Emeritus event in-person for the first time since 2019. Emeritus or Emerita titles are granted to those who have performed distinguished service in their respective roles. This year’s event honoured vice-presidents, deans, and professors, for their commitment to UM over their careers.
Squirrel sperm and feet tell a different climate change story
