Everything you need to know if you’re returning to campus

Fall Term starts September 9, and many of us are working and studying from home. But there may be times when you need to go to one of our campuses for a class or lab. If you do, we are counting on you to take personal responsibility in keeping yourself and others in our community safe. We’ve put together some tips below to help.

How to get your Student Photo Identification (ID) card
September 1, 2020 —
The Registrar’s Office is making it easier than ever for students to get their Student ID cards. Due to the temporary closure of some in-person services on campus, Student ID cards will be available for request online through Aurora! Once you have registered for courses, you are eligible to receive a University of Manitoba Student ID card. This ID card can be used to access many services and benefits available to students.

UM students get more affordable rates on Mobile Internet plans

Libraries
Libraries open study spaces for students
August 13, 2020 —
Beginning August 17, students who have classes on campus may find quiet study space in the Libraries from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
