Save the Date for public lecture by Eternity Martis
Event will be held March 9 on Fort Garry campus
The University of Manitoba is thrilled to announce that award-winning journalist and best-selling author, Eternity Martis will be visiting UM on March 9. Martis is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism at the Toronto Metropolitan University, and award-winning author of They Said This Would Be Fun: Race, Campus Life, and Growing Up. This will be a free public event from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Investors Group Athletic Centre (IGAC), open to UM students, faculty and staff, as well as the community at large.

There will also be a free public event on Bannatyne campus on March 8 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
This public event is supported by the Robert and Elizabeth Knight Distinguished Visitor Program. Through the Robert and Elizabeth Knight Distinguished Visitors Program, UM faculty, staff and students have the opportunity to attend thought-provoking lectures on a variety of topical issues of interest to the UM community.
