Time for Recovery, Rebuilding

Monika Warren [BN/90] says her proudest leadership moments always involve interprofessional teamwork. “When you include everyone’s voice in the conversation, the team feels empowered and will work together to find innovative solutions,” says Warren, who was appointed by Shared Health in January 2022 as Manitoba’s new chief operating officer for provincial health services and chief nursing officer.

Prof aims to research English literacy testing of Manitoba nurses

Over 300 high school students from 70 school across Manitoba attended the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Discovery Days in Health Sciences November 10 to explore a wide range of career paths in health sciences-related fields with interactive workshops conducted by award-winning faculty members.

‘Simulation Star’ impacts nursing education
