UM-led study exposes barriers, safety concerns for medical cannabis use in Canada

A majority of Canadians who require medical cannabis are obtaining the drug through the recreational market rather than the medical system, raising health and safety concerns, according to a massive new study led by a UM researcher.

Assessment program being streamlined for international nurses

Nursing prof aims to improve care for marginalized cancer patients

On-campus exhibit explores healing through art
January 6, 2023 —
A pop-up exhibit on the Fort Garry campus will display artworks by 32 cancer patients who participated in a novel therapy group at CancerCare Manitoba. The free exhibit will be on view Jan. 16 and 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the atrium of the Helen Glass Centre for Nursing, home of the College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences.
