Research-based theatre’s healing power : Network News
November 14, 2017 — As principal writer, Lea scripted the experiences of military veterans who shared their experiences, and then performed them onstage as a part of Contact! Unload, a research-based theatre project where the play becomes a catalyst for veterans who publicly interpret their struggles and experiences of transitioning to civilian life from military service in order to build resilience.

Winnipeg to host CSEA conference in 2018 : Network News
November 14, 2017 — Winnipeg will host the Canadian Society for Education Through Art (CSEA) conference from May 3-5, 2018. Up to 100 educators will come together to exchange ideas and learn about human rights in relation to visual art and visual art education.
