Law Student receives prestigious Indigenous Bar Association Award : Network News
November 9, 2018 — Congratulations to Danielle Morrison (3L) upon being presented with an Indigenous Bar Association Law Student Scholarship for "academic merit, community involvement and the pursuit of Indigenous legal reform." Morrison was presented with the award at the 30th Annual IBA Fall Conference in Saskatoon.

Solomon Greenberg Trial Moot Launches Law Faculty Moot Season : Network News
November 9, 2018 — The Solomon Greenberg Trial Moot Competition has a long and illustrious tradition at Robson Hall. Over its 50 year history, winners have included students who have gone on to become Court of Queen’s Bench Judges, Ministers of Justice and even a former Robson Hall Dean of Law, the current Chancellor of the University of Manitoba, Mr. Harvey Sector.

Pitblado Lectures: Dedicated to furthering legal education in Manitoba : Network News
November 9, 2018 — Since 1960, the Manitoba legal profession has had the benefit of the annual Isaac Pitblado Lectures, established in honour of the late distinguished Manitoba lawyer, Isaac Pitblado. This remarkable man actively practiced law for 74 years. This year's lectures proved to be a testament to the strong relationship between the Manitoba Bar Association (MBA), the Law Society, and Manitoba's Law School.
