The Ottawa Citizen interviewed Catherine Cook, Associate Dean of First Nations, Metis and Inuit Health in the Faculty of Medicine, about a new report that states seniors in First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities often have poorer health than their non-aboriginal counterparts and they don’t receive the same level of health-care services as other Canadian seniors.
