HONORARY DEGREE RECIPIENTS
The honorary degree is the highest honour the University of Manitoba can confer upon an individual for distinguished achievement in scholarship, the arts, or public service. During the Fall 2023 ceremonies, Honorary Degrees will be granted to Dr. Linda J. Kristjanson and David A. Robertson.
COMMUNICATIONS TO GRADUATES
Those who declared their graduation before the July 27th deadline would’ve already received email communications. Those who were added to the list after the deadline will begin to receive emails within the next week. These emails will provide instructions on how to sign up for convocation, claim your academic attire, and what to expect from this year’s ceremonies.
The deadline to declare your intent to graduate for Fall Convocation 2023 was on July 27th, 2023.
GRADUATION POW WOW
The Annual Traditional Graduation Pow Wow is held in the Spring. All Indigenous graduates (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) in 2023-2024 are encouraged to participate in the Spring 2024 Graduation Pow Wow.
More information will be sent out next term. Students graduating this fall can look for registration information next April on our Indigenous Student Experience page.
