The University of Manitoba is the university for Manitobans. And in Manitoba, 29.2% of people over the age of 15 have at least one disability, according to Statistics Canada. That’s why UM is committed to accessibility not only in its physical spaces, but also in its digital spaces.

UM students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in 60-minute workshops that cover the history of UM’s acknowledgement, current controversies around territory acknowledgements and considerations for building your own personal statement, along with resources to do so.
