Bison alumna named to Team Canada

University of Manitoba Bison alumna Desiree Scott has been named to Canada’s soccer roster for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
During her time with the Bisons, Scott was named a first team CIS All-Canadian in 2009. She was twice recognized as a Canada West All-Star and won the Canada West Rookie of the Year award in 2005.
Scott won a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympics.
Team Canada will play their matches in Edmonton.
