An always changing campus

November 3, 2013 —

In 1950 the Fort Garry campus was transformed by the Red River when it overflowed its banks. The change then was only temporary, though. On Nov. 4, 2013, the University of Manitoba announces the winner of the Visionary (re)Generation Open International Design Competition; it will launch the U of M on a journey of transformation that will have an enduring impact for generations.

A public exhibition of the designs submitted for the competition will be on display at the U of M from November 5-10, and at Manitoba Hydro Place from December 11-29. Visit visionaryregeneration.com for more information.
