The Ribstone Block expands the aesthetic options found within the Keystone product line. We wanted to provide three new options within the Keystone block design: a new facade pattern, a planting space, and the ability to be able to wire lighting. For the facade pattern, we designed a modernist-style block that relied on vertical and horizontal lines. This meant removing the natural stone texture and replacing it with a smooth surface. A modernist-style architectural detail was then applied to the block, coming up with the name Ribstone. The Rib detail can create several wall patterns while working with the existing Keystone blocks.
