Securing your Zoom meetings

Registration is open for sessions on December 7 and 9

Are you planning to hold a Zoom meeting? Have you considered what you can do to reduce the chance of admitting an unwanted guest? Do you know how to deal with a disruption during your meeting?

Join our IT Learning Coordinator on December 7 or 9 for an overview of Zoom’s security settings and tools.

During each session, we will learn about:

Authentication
Making set-up choices to improve meeting security
Using the Security icon to respond to a disruption during a meeting
Zoom webinars and when to use them

Both sessions will be hosted in UM Zoom. Please register and attend with a Zoom account connected to your @umanitoba.ca or @myumanitoba.ca email address.

Banner Administration Pages & Aurora Self Service will be upgraded to the latest version starting November 15, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. to November 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. This upgrade will bring important security enhancements and focus on improving the quality of the Administration Pages & new Aurora Self Service so we can continue to ensure our environment remains up to date and protected against cybersecurity threats.
