Banner and Aurora Self Service outage to support Banner Document Management (BDM) upgrade
Banner Administration Pages and Aurora Self Service will be unavailable February 19th from 5:00 pm CST to February 21st 8:00 pm CST for maintenance to support the upgrade of Banner Document Management (BDM).
The Banner Document Management upgrade will ensure our University will continue its journey to modernize the user experience of our key systems.
This upgrade will introduce the following features to BDM:
- Modern user experience that will support multiple browsers
- New features that will allow for future introduction of BDM to the wider University community
- Integration with Administration Pages
- Foundational updates to support upcoming deliverables of Aurora Self Service 9 and integrations
- Enhanced security capability
- Infrastructure modernization
What does this mean to you?
Do you use Banner Document Management daily to manage records?
Once this upgrade has been completed, BDM will have a modernized look with support for multiple browsers. Your existing records will not be impacted by this upgrade.
Do you use Banner Administration Pages and Aurora Self Service?
Once this upgrade is completed there will be no changes to functions you use in Banner Administration Pages and Aurora Self Service.
How does this impact you?
Banner Administration Pages and Aurora Self Service will be temporarily unavailable during the BDM upgrade – unavailable February 19th from 5:00 pm CST to February 21st 8:00 pm CST as the system upgrades. Other processes and systems that connect to Banner Administration Pages and Aurora Self Service (e.g. FAST, UM Achieve, EPIC, ODS, FlexReg) will be inaccessible or have limited functionality during this time. More information will be provided to users of these systems.
