Best in the West: Robson Hall law students bring home MacIntyre Cup
Plus, Gale Cup team performed well
Moot season has started and Robson Hall law students are boarding flights, heading across the country and showing other Canadian law students what they’re made of. Last weekend, Robson’s MacIntyre Cup team of Keith McCullough and Alyssa Cloutier brought home the big prize, making their win Manitoba’s fourth in the past six years. Many thanks to coaches Tim Killeen and Chantal Boutin for their dedication and hard work. The team will go on to represent the western law schools in the national competition, the Sopinka Cup in Ottawa in mid-March, which is the final one in this series of trial advocacy moot competitions.
Manitoba’s Gale Cup team performed admirably under the seasoned coaching of Michelle Bright and Melissa Hazelton. Pictured here are team members (L-R) Zain Khan, Parker Neil, Michelle Bright (coach), Larissa Campbell, Emilie Cook, Melissa Hazelton (coach) and David Barbour.
