Exploring frailty among people living with cardiovascular disease
Healthy aging is important for everyone.
At the Thursday, Jan. 23 instalment of the Faculty Kinesiology and Recreation Management Research Seminar Series, Dr. Todd Duhamel will discuss research examining how physical activity and sedentary behaviour impacts health in older adults with cardiovascular disease.
Duhamel is a professor in the faculty who’s been researching physical activity and cardiovascular disease for more than a decade.

Applied Health Sciences PhD candidate, Jacqueline Hay, will be presenting Sex Differences in Cardiovascular Disease prior to Duhamel’s lecture. Hay is a 2017 Vanier scholar and participated in the first cohort of the President’s Student Leadership Program this past year.
