Unscheduled Power Outage: Monday, March 15
March 15, 2021 —
On Monday, Mar. 15 at 3 am, Manitoba Hydro experienced an issue that caused a power outage to much of Fort Garry Campus. Power was fully restored within 30 minutes of the outage.
UM Operations and Maintenance verified the operation of most of the building systems the same day, and is not aware of any major impacts or failures.
A reminder to all Faculties to verify operation of any critical research or academic equipment in order to avoid unintended impacts.
