U of M student first to win international bursary

Ryan Courchene, a First Nations student in the Joint Master’s Program in History/Archival Studies M.A. program, has been awarded a “New Professionals Program” bursary from the International Council of Archives to attend the ICA’s world Congress in Seoul in September. Courchene is the first Canadian recipient of the bursary and only the second from North America.
