From Nigeria to the Stage: How Theatre Changed My Life

Student Dola Akintan hopes that when people watch Our Country’s Good, they don’t just see a play. She hopes they feel the weight of history, the power of storytelling, and the reminder that theatre—like life—is about more than just survival. The production runs April 2-5 at the John J. Conklin Theatre and is presented by the Department of English, Theatre, Film & Media's Theatre Program.
