The Symposium is a new joint initiative of St. Paul’s College, University of Manitoba; Campion College, University of Regina; and St. Thomas More College, University of Saskatchewan. The symposium will take place at the three colleges on an annual, rotating basis, attracting scholars and practitioners devoted to examining the Common Good through the prism of an annual theme. The 2022 theme is Ecology and the Common Good.

“We are very excited to host the inaugural Prairie Symposium for the Common Good at St. Paul’s College. The lineup of speakers for the symposium is world-class, and we look forward to welcoming scholars from across Canada and the globe (virtually) to our college to address these essential questions,” says Daniel MacLeod, Director of the Jesuit Centre for Catholic Studies at St. Paul’s College.

“Discussions of the common good and ecological justice are essential to understanding life in the twenty-first century.
