Pop-up ID Centre for Winter 2024

The Registrar’s Office is pleased to announce that the Pop-up ID Centre will be available January 3 – 12 in room 102B UMSU University Centre.

Before you come

Check-in online (QR code below) to join the queue and avoid spending time waiting. You will receive a text message when it is your turn to come to the Photo ID Centre. You can also choose to download the WaitWell Customer App and we will let you know your position in line and estimated wait time, so you can arrive just in time for service.

Ready for service

WaitWell will send you a notification when your turn is getting closer so you can make your way to the location and be ready to get your ID card.

What to bring:
- Government-issued Photo ID
- Study Permit (if applicable)

Please note:

Photo ID cards are required to obtain a U-Pass for Winnipeg Transit bus service. U-Pass is provided by UMSU.
Students who already have a UM Student card do not need a new one each year/term.

We will return to regular Photo ID Centre operations in room 400 of UMSU University Centre on January 15^th.

Finding space to study

Elizabeth Dafoe Library offers lots of study spaces, however it is also the largest and busiest library on campus. As the Fall Term comes to an end and final exams approach, it can seem overwhelming to find a space to sit down and study in the library.
