M.Ed. student writes about critical thinking for CBC.ca

Matt Henderson, a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Bachelor of Education program and a current student Masters of Education student, recently wrote a piece for CBC.ca arguing that society must take the time to engage in critical reasoning when it comes to recent high-profile media events.
“We need a citizenry of critical thinkers if we are to meet the challenges of impending ecological and economic crises,” he writes.
“A society comprised of individuals who come to snap judgments has produced these crises,” says Henderson, a teacher at St. John’s-Ravenscourt School in Winnipeg, in the article.
