Celebrate UM’s new strategic plan at community launch event

The University of Manitoba is entering a new and exciting phase with the launch of MOMENTUM: Leading Change Together, University of Manitoba Strategic Plan, 2024-2029.
Creating the plan was a community effort, and so the moment will be marked with a special celebration for faculty, staff and students on April 4, 2024 in the Multi Purpose Room at UMSU University Centre.
Come learn about the university’s goals for the next five years and:
- Enjoy interactive stations showcasing UM’s community and innovative research and teaching.
- Contribute to a new community art installation.
- Sample ice cream made on our Fort Garry campus.
- Embrace your inner bison with a limited-edition bison t-shirt (first 200 guests).
- Connect with each other over light refreshments.
All faculty, staff, and students are welcome. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. with a brief speaking program to begin at 10 a.m.
A recording of the speaking portion of the program will be available online following the celebration, for those who are unable to attend.
