Helping shape diabetes & physical activity research
A research study being conducted in-part by the University of Manitoba is looking for participants to help to inform diabetes and physical activity research.
The purpose of the research study is to determine what questions patients, families and health care providers have about diabetes and physical activity. This will help to prioritize what research projects are important to patients and their caregivers.
The study is seeking people with diabetes, along with their families/health care providers to answer a short anonymous survey asking questions they have related to diabetes and exercise.
The research team will gather an advisory group of patients, family members, providers and scientists to prioritize the questions submitted by the survey into a top-ten list. Once the list is gathered, the research team will work towards answering those questions in our future research projects.
