Awards provided to help pay for practicum expenses
The Education Student Council recently named the recipients for this year’s Fund the Future scholarships.
The fund helps students to pay for expenses related to the Northern Practicums in Northern Manitoba–to either Churchill, Norway House or Gillam, or for other expenses related to teacher candidates’ practicums.
This year there were a total of nine winners. Successful candidates were required to submit applications detailing what they would use the funds for. Awards were handed out on Oct. 28.
