Experts available: Canadian prostitution laws
June 4, 2014 —
The federal government will table new prostitution legislation in the House of Commons on June 4.
This bill is in response to a Supreme Court of Canada decision, which struck down key provisions of the country’s prostitution laws in December 2013.
What this bill should look like has been discussed and debated at the Centre for Human Rights Research at the University of Manitoba.
