IST is reviewing examples of how digital signatures are used in the university
The following message was sent to all and staff and faculty:
Information Services and Technology is currently reviewing examples of how digital signatures are used as part of the university’s waste reduction initiative.
A “digital signature” uses encryption to validate the authenticity of a software, message, or digital file. Using mathematically generated code, it is secure enough to be considered legal and binding in Canada.
