Professor and former school teacher Frank Deer is the recently appointed director of Indigenous initiatives in the Faculty of Education.
In this role, he’ll develop a program for future Indigenous teachers, find new ways to support Indigenous graduate students and work with faculty to integrate Indigenous perspectives across the curriculum.
