Bombers’ pre-season home opener tonight

Bomber fans will be arriving in droves tonight to see the Bombers play their pre-season home opener against the Toronto Argonauts at Investors Group Field.

From a team shuffle to new coaching staff, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have undergone quite a transformation in the past year. And after a less-than-stellar 2013 season, 2014 started with the possibility of a strike — narrowly averted . “I’m in favour of playing and getting it done,”Blue Bombers defensive back Alex Suber recently told the Winnipeg Sun.

The new stadium will hopefully provide some incentive. Today’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers game begins at 7:30 PM.

Also, don’t forget that the Manitoba Marathon, er, runs this upcoming Sunday, June 15.
