Volleyball and men's hockey to face off this weekend against Alberta and UBC

November 13, 2018 —

The Bison men’s hockey team is looking ahead to the weekend to change  the momentum of their current course. The team will host the UBC Thunderbirds this weekend. Games will play at the Wayne Fleming Arena Friday night at 7 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Always thinking about how they can help the community around them, the team is also making an effort to support Movember Foundation this month. There will be activities and items for sale that support the campaign with the finale puck toss at the December 1 game against the Calgary Dinos.

The volleyball teams also play at home this weekend against the University of Alberta with all matches at Investors Group Athletic Centre. The men will get started on Friday night at 6 p.m with the women to follow at 7:45 p.m. Saturday’s action will start  with the women at 5 p.m and finish off with the men at 6:45 p.m.
