Faculty of Law Celebrates 2025 Teaching Award winners : Network News
June 24, 2025 — The Faculty of Law congratulates Dr. Amar Khoday and Ms. Allison Fenske, recipients of the Faculty’s two top teaching awards given annually to recognize one professor and one practicing professional instructor. Khoday is the recipient of The Barney Sneiderman Award for Teaching Excellence and Fenske was chosen for the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence. The winners were announced at the June 7th Faculty of Law graduation dinner.

Breaking the ice on Arctic oil spill research : Network News
June 23, 2025 — This past winter, researchers from the Centre for Earth Observation Science (CEOS) at the University of Manitoba (UM) completed the first-ever controlled oil spill experiment at the Churchill Marine Observatory (CMO). This was a major milestone in a larger effort to understand how oil behaves in the Arctic, and how Arctic microbes might help clean it up.
