University-UMFA Bargaining Update
Meeting dates established
May 24, 2016 —
Full-scale bargaining between the University of Manitoba and UMFA will commence on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 25. The bargaining teams have set 27 meeting days through the spring and summer, in the hope of achieving a negotiated agreement prior to the fall term.
This follows an unsuccessful attempt to negotiate an expedited resolution.
Since bargaining can be a lengthy process, the University of Manitoba will make it possible for faculty members to continue to access and spend travel and expense funds beyond the expiration of the 2013-2016 Collective Agreement.
Further updates will be provided regularly on the human resources website.
