Come celebrate the largest philanthropic gift to the U of M
On May 12, as a special part of the Faculty of Health Sciences’ College of Medicine convocation ceremony, the University of Manitoba will receive the largest philanthropic gift in its history.
The convocation ceremony starts at 10:30 with the transformative announcement coming shortly after. Check UM Today at 10:45 for the complete details or follow the conversation on Twitter at #frontandcentreum. Additionally, the convocation ceremony can be streamed online.
Students, staff, faculty and community members are invited to a special dessert party after convocation where our generous benefactors will be honoured and celebrated this historic moment for the U of M. Formal remarks will start at 1:30 pm with a dessert buffet served following the formal program.
