Release of textile fibers into the world’s waterways is a serious environmental issue.  In the fall of 2021, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) launched a new test method to measure the release of fibre fragments during home laundering.  To create an opportunity for learning, the Institute of Textile Science (https://www.textilesciences.com/) is offering a free webinar entitled “The History of AATCC TM212, Test Method for Fiber Release During Laundry” on Wednesday, February 9 from 1 to 1:30 p.m (EST).
